TIPS AND MAINTENANCE
For the shine and plating to last longer, avoid contact with water, beauty products, chemicals and hard surfaces.
You should store your jewelry in a dark, dry place, free of moisture, in a well-sealed package, like the one you received with the pieces.
Sunlight can discolor the pieces and air can oxidize them, as can the pH of the skin, which intensifies this type of alteration, especially in gold-plated jewelry.
Gold jewelry has a gold-plated finish and, although this plating is of high quality, it can lose some of its color over time as the gold layer fades. You should therefore remove your jewelry when showering, playing sports or swimming. You should also remove your rings when washing your hands.
You should clean your jewelry with a soft microfiber cloth, which will help maintain or restore its shine.
To wash, use neutral detergent with warm water, rinse with clean water and dry with a cotton pad.
GUARANTEE
Ruben Roque Jewels offers a 1-year guarantee on all its products from the date of purchase. The guarantee does not apply when the damage is self-inflicted or due to normal wear and tear, loss of the product, loss of stones or theft.
The customer must check the delivered products immediately on arrival. If it turns out that the product delivered is not the product ordered, or the product is unsuitable or incomplete, the customer must immediately report these defects by e-mail to Ruben Roque Jewels (greal@rubenroquejewels.com).
Items must be returned to Ruben Roque Jewels in their original packaging (including boxes and documentation).
If a customer’s complaints are considered justified by Ruben Roque Jewels, it will give the customer the option of replacing the delivered products free of charge or refunding.
The guarantee does not apply if:
– Discoloration of the pieces due to exposure to chemical products, make-up, contact with water or other liquids;
– The natural fading process of the 24K gold plating.
– The customer has personally processed, repaired or modified the jewelry supplied;
– The customer has allowed third parties to process, repair or modify the jewelry supplied;
– The jewelry delivered has been exposed to abnormal conditions, other careless procedures or contrary to the instructions of Ruben Roque Jewels and instructions on the packaging.
– Out-of-warranty repairs will be made for a fee.
